This weekend, I dined at Zoufa located within a serene resort, hoping for a memorable evening. The ambiance was peaceful and inviting, making it an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy a relaxing dinner.
The service stood out as a highlight of the visit. The staff was courteous, attentive, and ensured every need was promptly met, adding a touch of elegance to the overall experience.
The meal began with an appetizer that was undoubtedly the best part of the evening. It was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented, setting high expectations for the rest of the meal. However, the main course didn’t quite meet those expectations. The kebab was decent—well-cooked but lacking a distinctive flavor to make it memorable. Unfortunately, the accompanying rice was a letdown. It was dry and lacked the seasoning and aroma one would expect from a resort restaurant.
While the tranquil ambiance and excellent service made the evening enjoyable, the main course left room for improvement. For a restaurant within a resort, I had hoped for a more flavorful and cohesive dining experience. I would consider returning, particularly for the appetizers and service, but I hope the kitchen refines its main dishes to match the setting’s promise.
This spot is great for a casual date night. The restaurant looks amazing, it's within Al Samriya Resort Hotel. Food is quite good & the portion size is huge enough according to five-star standards. We were staying at this resort, we started wid coffee and finger food near d poolside in d evening. Later went for dinner, our server Bouchra was quite polite, proactive & professional at her job. She offered us complimentary lemonade which she sweetly made herself. The food preparation takes longer. So pls place ur order in advance if u have young kids along with u. The menu doesn't have too much variety & during our stay, a lot of menu items were not available. Food is fresh, and portion sizes are good. Pasta was outstanding so was the Chicken soup. The beef burger has room for improvement. They served a burger & chicken nuggets without fries as it was finished on that day. But charged us the menu price which I thought was not fair. Loud shoutout for Bouchra once again. She is awesome! Overall good place to visit.
Glorious place.
I had an early breakfast here and sat on the terrace overlooking the pool. The buffet was extensive and everything was ridiculously fresh — the pomegranate seeds tasted like they’d been picked ten minutes before I ate them. The baba ganoush was the best ever and has totally ruined all future baba ganoush for me. 🤯
The service was exquisite. Of particular note was Sarah, an Indonesian woman who was a total delight.
I definitely recommend!
The restaurant is in the Autograph Collection hotel some 30 odd km from the city center! It's a nice drive and the restaurant is set out in the beautiful estate of H.E. Shaikh Faisal!
It serves Lebanese cuisine and the food is really good, we were there to celebrate a birthday and informed the team about some dietary requirement and to our pleasure the team went above and beyond to ensure we got what we wanted. The service is spot on the team would make your experience worthwhile.
Being set out in the farm the visit to the restaurant can be coupled with a visit to the farm, you can spot some peacocks, some oryx some emus. You can also visit Shaikh Faisal Museum which in itself is am extensive activity, amazing experience for the kids too!
The estate has a horse riding school which is also something you can experience!
All up the restaurant can be an engaging activity with friends or family including kids... There is just so much to do and the team knows how to make your experience wonderful!
